AIEZ Scholarship FAQ
Am I able to apply?
Applicants must be a citizen of the US or Canada and attending a post-secondary school within 6 months of the application deadline. For full application requirements, please click here.
What is the award?
Awards are $1,000 grants paid directly to the post-secondary school that the winner is attending.
Can I apply more than once?
While we appreciate the enthusiasm, please limit applications to one per year. Students submitting multiple applications will be disqualified from the contest.
Are home-school students eligible?
Yes, as long as the student will be attending a post-secondary school and meets all other requirements we will accept their application.
Should I submit an application essay as a Google Document?
No. Google Documents are not a good submission format due to the ability to edit the file after submission or to delete files before we can evaluate them. Please export the final version of your essay from Google Docs in a stable file format (we accept .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, or .RTF files). Then attach this file to your application email. We will disqualify any applicants who submit documents we can’t access.
When will I know if I won?
Winners are typically announced within two months of the scholarship deadline, depending on the number of applications we receive. You will also be notified when your application was received.
